- Many points of comparison can
be made between the ancient Greek
Olympics and the modern Olympics. Kebric spends part of his chapter on
three athletes in particular, Phayllus of Croton, Milo of Croton, and
Theagenes of Thasos. In your essay examine how they are similar to or
different
from three male athletes from the Sidney, Athens, and/or Beijing
Olympics. What general conclusions can you draw from the
similarities/differences? As always, make sure you cite sources
sufficiently and correctly.
