2. A key aim for a Greek male aristocrat was the pursuit of success, fame, and glory. In many ways the myths which we have studied in this unit (see above) can be looked upon as defining the ways an individual can pursue such success, fame, and glory. Discuss.
3. Comparative Mythology: Compare a Greek myth with two non-Greek myths that either relate to the archetype of trickster, great mother, or dying god. From this comparison determine what may be cultural in each of these myths and what may be archetypal. What conclusions, if any, can you draw?
