Personal Information
Dr. Concannon received his Ph.D (Science Education) from the University of Missouri. Dr. Concannon teaches Methods of Teaching Science, Introduction to Teaching, Foundations of Education, Education Practicum 2, Student Teacher Supervision, Education Seminar, Geography, and The History of Science. Dr. Concannon involves his students in research, publishing, and presenting at professional conferences. Dr. Concannon is a reviewer for several journals and serves on many committees for Westminster College. Dr. Concannon has received several teaching and research awards. In 2012, Dr. Concannon was recognized by AAAS for his research in students' self-efficacy beliefs in undergraduate engineering programs.
