- when using in-text citations for Winkler or Foley, do the following: (Maurizio, 228); i.e. whatever page number is appropriate
- for the movie(s) make sure you
- have a works cited entry that is correct (see below for what it should look like)

Write on one of the following topics:
- Myths Affirm: As Foley argues (see Maurizio, pp 174–185), myths can affirm social norms. Examine how the first part of the movie Hercules prior to Hercules arriving in Thebes or the part from Hercules' palace to Hercules & Hades' deal, can be used to affirm 3 American social norms. In your introduction, briefly note some of the ways that Foley demonstrates that myths can affirm social norms.
- Myths Challenge: As Winkler argues (see Maurizio, pp 226–233), myths can challenge social norms. Examine how the first part of the movie Hercules prior to Hercules arriving in Thebes or the part from Hercules' palace to Hercules & Hades' deal, can be used to challenge 3 American social norms. In your introduction, briefly note some of the ways that Winkler demonstrates that myths can challenge norms.
