Write on one of the following topics:
- Xenia: Compare and contrast the "guest friendship" exhibited by Achilles to Priam (Iliad 24) with that of Polyphemus to Odysseus (Odyssey 9). Conclusions? FYI: don't start with summaries of parts of the Iliad and the Odyssey, but use parts of both poems as evidence when comparing and contrasting. Use the definition of Xenia provided in the pdf in Moodle.
- Heroic Code: Examine Odysseus' actions in books 9 & 21 of the Odyssey with regard to the Heroic code (honor/shame). Use the definition of the Heroic Code (honor/shame) provided in the pdf in Moodle.
