2018 courses will include...

Take part in a rare opportunity to explore the human body: an anatomical review of a male and female cadaver.

3D printing is transforming the world of manufacturing and design. Try your hand at computer-aided design (CAD) and print your own creations on a 3D printer.

Get to know the rock stars of science! Learn about fossil organisms and how they are used to interpret past life. Engage in a project to learn how paleontologists engage in scientific processes.

Ever wonder how genetic diseases are diagnosed and passed along the family tree? Explore genetic and biochemistry techniques such as DNA extraction and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).

What makes psychology a science? Try out some real "Brain Games" and learn how psychological science works by running real experiments and collecting real data.

Perform field work on an excursion to Prairie Fork Conservation Area, a 711-acre nature reserve in nearby Williamsburg.

Learn how to "kill" bacteria without harming the human. Use an ATR-Infrared spectrometer to identify an antibiotic drug.

Scratch the surface of code: learn the basics and logic of code in modern programming languages.

Fee
$550 (all-inclusive - curriculum materials, food, housing, and tuition). Bonus - Earn 1-hour college credit when you complete the Westminster STEM Academy (additional $150 fee).
